On our 5 K Walk we went over the high bridge. Here I could get photos one usually can't take, as stopping on the bridge is not allowed. The navy ships below one could visit only during the celebration.
Looking the other side of the high bridge one sees Santa Anna Bay and the large refinery. This is what drives the economy of Curacao. During WWII the boats coming from Venezuela with crude oil were in great danger. The Chinese boatmen went on strike. You can see the 10 K runners on the road below.
